Students from across the Sixth Form recently took part in the Senior UKMT Mathematics Challenge, a national competition designed to stretch and challenge students with complex, problem-solving style mathematics. The questions require creative reasoning and resilience, and we are pleased to share that our students approached the challenge with commitment and confidence.
This year, we are proud to celebrate an excellent set of results, with our students achieving 10 Bronze Awards and 3 Silver Awards. A special mention goes to Riddhi Karsan, who achieved Best in the Lower Sixth, recognising her impressive performance among her peers. We would also like to congratulate Grace Briers, who not only earned a Silver Award, but also achieved Best in School, an outstanding accomplishment reflecting both ability, problem solving skills and perseverance.
We are delighted with the enthusiasm shown by all participants and commend them for taking on such a demanding challenge. Their achievements reflect not only their mathematical skill, but also their willingness to engage with challenging academic and mathematical opportunities.
