Sixth Form

We are incredibly proud of hockey star Isla Campbell (Upper Sixth), who has shown fantastic resilience in returning from a knee injury to represent England U18 at the recent Six Nations Tournament.

Following her recovery, Isla delivered a series of impressive performances on the international stage. She scored two excellent goals in the opening win against Scotland and secured a place in the starting line-up for all three matches. The tournament included a challenging fixture against World No.1, The Netherlands, as well as a closely contested victory over the USA. It has been wonderful to see her back doing what she loves with such positivity, determination and commitment.

Her impact did not stop there. The weekend of 18th April, Isla took on a coaching role with the Hertfordshire U13 county team at their regional tournament, having progressed through the same pathway herself. Now working alongside those who once inspired her, she guided and motivated a team who began the day feeling uncertain, helping them to grow in confidence and ultimately achieve a fantastic Plate win.

Isla’s leadership made a strong impression. Members of the county leadership team praised her energy, encouragement and independence throughout the day. She was invited to present medals at the end of the tournament and was celebrated by the team as 'Coach of the Day'.
