Mrs Winter (Head of Dance)

After being selected to perform at the Regional Dance UK Festival, Images (BGS Senior Dance Company) performed their work Guernica on Saturday March 9^th at the University of Bedfordshire Theatre. 

The girls experienced a day in the life of a professional dance company, engaging in rehearsals and workshops with visiting artists, ending the day with their performance on stage.  Their piece of choreography explores the essence of Pablo Picasso’s painting Guernica, which is regarded by many art critics as one of the most moving and powerful anti-war paintings in history.

We were so proud of the girls’ compelling performance as they captured the true essence of the painting.
