We were excited to launch this year’s 2025/26 Eco Club with a creative and meaningful start! Girls from Years 3 to 6 joined together to think about our planet and the important role we all play in caring for it.
Our first activity was a craft session where each member created a beautiful collage of Earth, complete with our hands holding the planet to symbolise that the world is in our hands. This sparked lots of thoughtful conversations about how even small actions can make a big difference.
We also spent time discussing ideas for how we can make our school and community a greener, more sustainable place. With so many wonderful ideas already, we’re feeling inspired and motivated. This week, to tie in with Wellbeing Day this Friday, we spent some time in the BGS Wellbeing Garden, connecting with nature and participating in some mindful sketching.
