Junior School Swimming

Mr Castro (Director of Swimming)

On Monday 2nd March, nine talented swimmers from the Junior School proudly represented the school at the qualifying round of the IAPS Swimming Championships.

Competing against strong opposition from schools across the region, the girls demonstrated exceptional determination, skill and team spirit throughout the gala. From the first whistle to the final race, every swimmer gave her absolute best, in their individual races and in the team relays. It was clear to see their hard work paying off from their commitment to the and before and after school  training sessions that comes from weeks of committed training.

There were impressive performances across all strokes, with several personal best times achieved on the day. The team supported one another brilliantly, cheering from the poolside and celebrating each success together. Their conduct was exemplary, and they represented the school with great pride both in and out of the water.

We are incredibly proud of their efforts and look forward to hearing whether any of our swimmers have secured places in the next stage of the competition which will take place at the London Olympic pool.
