This term, our Year 3 and 4 pupils have started on an exciting journey of inquiry that brings together their developing Science knowledge with hands-on design and creativity. 

The students are being set a challenge of designing and creating either games and toys, which will  link to the scientific skills and understanding they have been building throughout the term.

A highlight of our inquiry so far was our inspiring visits to meet Mrs Redfern, Head of DT, in the Senior School. During these sessions, the girls were introduced to essential design skills of creating different ways to join materials, whilst having the opportunity to see the impressive DT studios. 

Seeing the high-quality work produced by Senior School pupils was hugely motivating and helped our Year 3 and 4 pupils imagine what they might achieve themselves in the future and be inspired for their work this term. We look forward to sharing our work with Mrs Redfern later this term!
