On Friday 20th June, the Junior School was filled with the joyful sounds of gospel music as all four Year 5 classes took part in a singing workshop. As part of their PYP Unit of Inquiry into How We Express Ourselves, the girls explored the rich traditions and powerful energy of gospel singing and what a fantastic journey it was!
Throughout the day, the pupils embraced the opportunity to develop new vocal techniques, learn harmonies, and most importantly, express themselves with confidence and enthusiasm. The workshop culminated in a short concert for parents, where it was truly uplifting to see the girls performing with such boldness and joy.
Their energy was infectious, and the performance was a vibrant celebration of music, teamwork and creativity. Well done, Year 5 - your voices and spirit filled the hall and our hearts!
