This week in Drama our Year 5 students have set about creating an exciting workshop/performance inspired by the wants and needs of our Year 3 students.
As part of their inquiry into the theme How We Organise Ourselves, Year 5 are exploring the central idea that people provide services and goods based on community wants and needs and available resources. In Drama, they are being set the challenge this term; Can you create a performance based on the wants/needs of Year 3 pupils?
Year 3 were invited to work alongside our Year 5 Drama students and have a direct input into what is created especially for them. Together, students have already discussed a wide range of fascinating ideas and themes, including science experiments, unicorns, wizards, endangered animals and more.
With so many creative sparks flying, who knows what Year 5 will come up with during their Drama sessions this term!
