Junior School Music

By Mrs Parsons (Deputy Director of Music)

The first Junior School teatime concert of the year took place in Trinity House on Wednesday this week, and it was, as always, a joyful celebration of the progress made across the whole range of experience on the music spectrum.

There were some inspiring performances from our older JS girls, including Year 5 student Tara singing Easy on Me by Adele, and Year 6 student Kitty performing Habanera on the violin, and also some incredibly confident performances from our Year 3 pupils, including a vocal duet rendition of Let’s Go Fly a Kite from Hattie and Lottie and a lovely performance of I like to be a Teabag by Nanki at the piano.

The large and appreciative audience thoroughly enjoyed the concert and all were impressed by the obvious enthusiasm and enjoyment of the occasion demonstrated by the girls. A huge well done to all who took part!
