Sixth Form

By Mrs Simms (Head of Business and Economics)

On Tuesday 30th September,  a group of our Lower Sixth students attended the launch of The Ivy House Award at Bedford School, joining students from Bedford School, Mark Rutherford School, and Biddenham International School. This prestigious leadership and personal development programme gave the students a valuable opportunity to step back and think deeply about their futures.

The afternoon included fun ice breakers to help students get to know one another, build trust, and create a sense of community across the different schools. They also took part in thought-provoking activities, reflecting on their dreams and aspirations, considering what might be holding them back, and recognising the “ceilings” they sometimes place on themselves.

The sessions encouraged them to explore how to overcome these barriers and aim higher in pursuit of their goals. An inspiring launch that left our students motivated, energised, and excited to begin this programme in the weeks ahead.
