By Mrs Lovett (Head of Food and Nutrition)
Our Year 8 Food and Nutrition students once again showcased their creativity and skills in the biannual Greens Kitchen Dish Project. Tasked with creating a healthy, protein-rich dish that is practical for school service and visually appealing, the students rose to the challenge with impressive flair.
Head Chef Mr Howard was extremely impressed by the standard of dishes produced when he came to their lessons, noting not only the quality of cooking but also the students’ ability to explain their choices and present their work to a high standard.
This year’s winner was Noorie Sibia (Year 9) with her Chilli Paneer Taco, praised for its originality, popularity potential, and suitability for school production.
Well done to all who took part, it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm and talent on display!
