We finished the 2026 Athletics season with the Years 7 and 8 District Athletics Finals at BIAS on Friday 19th June. It was time to give it our all. One athlete per event for each of our teams, against 28 schools in the district and only the top 8 results scored.

The Year 8 field events came first, and Evie Hyman came 5th in Long Jump with a PB, Lottie Tillison came 3rd in High Jump, Izzy Morris came second in Shot with a PB and Coco Lang won the Javelin becoming District Champion with a PB.

Followed by the Year 7 field events with Sasha Reynolds coming 4th in High jump, Khaelyn Headley-George 4th in Discus, Arlana Cunningham came 2nd in Long Jump, Florence Lionetti came 2nd in Shot and Emily Perry won the Javelin to become District Champion.

Year 8 scorers on the Track included Jessie Kolawole (3rd 100m), Lottie Tillison (2nd 200m), Georgia Cook (3rd 300) and Roisin Cross (4th 1500m).

Year 7 scorers on the track included Rebecca Isaacs (5th Hurdles), Harriet Woolley (7th 1500m with a PB), Emily Perry (4th 200m) and 1st place and therefore 100m District Champion medal for Arlana Cunningham.

Our relay teams both got into the finals and finished the day with great performances.

What a great day and what a fantastic Athletics season our fabulous athletes have had.
