We’re incredibly proud of Tilly M (Year 8) for taking on an inspiring personal challenge this January.
Tilly set herself the goal of running 31 miles throughout the month to raise money for Children with Cancer UK, and she absolutely smashed it!
What makes this even more remarkable is Tilly’s resilience. After being advised to rest over Christmas due to an injury, she still signed up for the challenge once January began. When shin splints struck partway through, her physio told her to stop, but anyone who knows Tilly won’t be surprised that she refused to give up. Determined to see it through, she completed the 31 miles with her trademark grit and positivity.
Tilly said: “I wanted to challenge myself and do something positive, so I ran 31 miles in January for Children with Cancer UK. I’m really proud to have completed the challenge and to have raised £670 to support the charity.”
We’re so proud of her incredible fundraising efforts for such a worthy cause.
