By Mrs Schofield (Head of Years 3 and 4)
As Head of Years 3 and 4, I have the pleasure of facilitating two wonderful days of activities for two of our feeder schools, Pilgrims Pre Prep and Polam School. On Tuesday and Thursday, our school buzzed with excitement as we welcomed these pupils for a taste of life at BGS.
The girls participated in outside games, dance and music, all thoughtfully organised by our dedicated departments. It is through this collective effort that these days run so smoothly, providing a rich and varied experience for all. These visits are also a key part of our school calendar, offering an opportunity for some of our current Year 3 girls to reconnect with their former teachers, while new friendships blossom.
The excitement continued as our visitors explored the Junior School gardens for a well-deserved break. Many of the girls saw familiar faces and some even found their sisters to play with before continuing with the fun inside.
These events are more than just a preview of school life, they are a chance for girls to bond, explore, and get excited for the journey ahead. We look forward to welcoming these new pupils in the future!
