We are incredibly proud to see alumna Flo Miller (2022) excelling in the women’s game after leaving BGS. The former Sports Captain has enjoyed an outstanding start to the 2026 season with Essex Women. 

Flo has already made her mark in the early part of 2026. At the crease, the right‑handed batter has delivered some standout performances, including an unbeaten 54 not out against Somerset and a powerful 49 not out at Durham. On Tuesday, she hit an outstanding 74 not out from 68 balls against Surrey. 

Following her impressive performances, Flo signed a two-year contract extension with Essex. You can read more about this here.    

Flo began her cricket journey with youth cricket in Oxfordshire before moving into the ranks at Northamptonshire, where she developed as a right‑handed batter and part‑time seam bowler. In 2023 she signed her first professional contract after graduating from the Sunrisers Academy, a major step that accelerated her rise on the regional stage. Following a strong 2024 campaign with Sunrisers, she signed a two‑year contract with Essex Women in November 2024, marking her formal move to the county side. 

It is great to see Flo in action and being such a wonderful role model to our BGS cricketers.
