The Alumnae Rowing – Back on the Water! Monday 6th July 2026, 4.00–5.30pm

Ready to dust off those water wings? Please come and join us for a relaxed and laughter-filled alumnae rowing session. With an emphasis on fun, not competition, this event is intended for those who would love to have a paddle around again on the Great Ouse. It is also a chance to reconnect with other alumnae rowers and to rediscover your rowing skills. Whether you rowed for years or just fancy giving it another go, we would be delighted to welcome you along and see you back on the water.

The Alumnae Friday Night Memorial Games – Friday 4th September 2026, 2.30–6.00pm

Our Old Girls’ Lacrosse match in memory of Miss Joan Gibson (former Head of PE at BHS 1951–1972) and Old Girls’ Hockey and Netball matches in memory of Sarah Raven (née Fisher, BHS 2004 and PE teacher at DAHS and BGS).

The whole school community are warmly invited to join us for The Alumnae Friday Night Memorial Games on Friday 4th September 2026. Held at BGS, the event at the start of the new school year will feature a series of First Team versus Old Girls’ matches in lacrosse, netball and hockey, with memorial awards presented following each match: the Joan Gibson Player of the Match (Lacrosse), the Fisher Cup (Netball), and the Sarah Raven Player of the Match Trophy (Hockey).
