The Greens team is delighted to introduce a new Summer Packed Lunch ‘Chef’s Special’, created in response to feedback from our students.

As the warmer months approach, many students expressed an interest in lighter, cooler meal options. In response, our catering team has developed a fresh take on the Chef’s Special, a seasonal packed lunch that’s perfect for enjoying in the dining hall or outdoors.

To help shape the menu, we invited parents into school on Friday 27th February to sample some of the proposed items and share their thoughts. It was a fantastic opportunity to gather feedback, and we are very grateful to everyone who joined us.

Parents shared that their daughters really like the idea of having a cold option during the summer months. There was strong support for:

• Simple, good-quality sandwiches made with fresh ingredients
• Vegetables served on the side rather than inside sandwiches
• Crudités and hummus as a popular accompaniment

This feedback has been incredibly helpful in refining our offer. The final menu will focus on fresh, balanced choices that students will genuinely enjoy, combining simplicity, quality, and a summery feel.

We look forward to launching the Summer Packed Lunch option soon and will share full details in the coming weeks.
