Join Us for Our Upcoming Coffee Mornings

We warmly invite prospective families to join us for one of our Senior or Junior School Coffee Mornings and Year 7 taster sessions this term. These relaxed events offer an authentic insight into life at BGS, with opportunities to meet our Heads, speak with our Admissions Team, and hear directly from our students.

Junior School Taster Morning and Coffee with the Head

While your daughter enjoys a specially designed activity with our Junior School teachers, you’ll join Mrs Howe, Head of the Junior School, for coffee and conversation about the benefits of an all-girls education - how we foster confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. Afterwards, our Junior School students will lead you on a guided tour, sharing their experiences of life and learning at BGS.

Senior School Coffee Mornings

Begin your visit with a small‑group conversation with Mrs Gemma Gibson, Headmistress, who will share our ethos, academic approach, and how an all‑girls environment builds confidence, ambition, and a love of learning. Afterwards, enjoy a student‑led tour of the Senior School, where students will share their experiences and co‑curricular opportunities. There will be plenty of time for questions throughout the morning.

Year 7 Taster Session

Our Year 7 Taster Session gives your daughter the chance to spend a morning in our Senior School alongside the Year 7 team. She will take part in a range of activities, meet teachers and pupils, and experience lessons in a Senior School setting. The session begins with an interactive VR activity, followed by a tour with a current Year 7 student and an opportunity to meet Mrs Tarrant, Head of Year 7.
