With Lunar New Year falling during half term, the Greens Team decided to hold a celebration lunch today. The dining room was beautifully decorated with traditional decorations, and the catering team prepared a mouth-watering feast across the lunch counters. Chopsticks were available for students to try, and it was a delight to see them teaching one another the skill of using them.

One of the desserts on offer was Fa Gao (fāgāo – 发糕), also known as prosperity cake or fortune cake. This sweet treat is a popular choice during the Lunar New Year celebrations. You’ll find the recipe below if you’d like to try making it at home.
