The journey beyond BGS has begun for our 2025 leavers, as they take up places at universities across the country here.
We are incredibly proud of the academic paths they have chosen. The variety of destinations and courses highlights the wide interests and ambitions of our students, many of whom have already begun their first semester.
This year’s destinations include some of the UK’s top institutions, stretching from Edinburgh and Glasgow in the north to Exeter and Brighton in the south. With over 60% going to Russell Group universities, Newcastle is the most popular choice with seven students. Nottingham, Leeds and York remain popular options, with six leavers heading to each. Birmingham, Exeter and Warwick will each welcome four of our leavers.
Bath, Durham and Lancaster will host two students each, while Oxford will welcome one. Other destinations include Bristol, Cardiff, Manchester and University College London, as well as more specialist pathways at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, University of the Arts London and Leeds Conservatoire.
This is only the beginning of their journeys, and we are excited to see where their paths will lead.
