We are excited to introduce a brand-new packed lunch option for our Junior and Senior Schools students, launching on Tuesday 21st April. This initiative has been carefully developed in response to student feedback, with the aim of providing greater choice, flexibility, and a lighter lunchtime option, particularly during the warmer months.

One of the key benefits of this new offering is that it will allow senior school students to enjoy their lunch outdoors on the school grounds when the weather permits, creating a more relaxed and social dining experience.

The idea was shaped not only by student input but also through a recent parent tasting session. This proved invaluable in refining the menu, with a clear preference emerging for simpler, more familiar flavours. As a result, we have focused on classic combinations, to ensure the offer appeals to a wide range of tastes.

The packed lunch menu will feature a different main item each day:

  • Monday: Focaccia sandwiches
  • Tuesday: Poke bowls
  • Wednesday: Bagels
  • Thursday: Pasta salad
  •  Friday: Wraps

Each day, both a meat and a vegetarian option will be available. Students will also be able to personalise their lunch by choosing from a selection of snacks, along with a home-baked treat and a portion of fresh fruit.

This new option will sit alongside our existing lunch offerings, which include a daily meat and vegetarian hot main, a jacket potato station with a variety of fillings, and a pasta station with a choice of sauces. Students will now have the flexibility to choose from the hot mains counter, the cold “grab-and-go” packed lunch counter, or the jacket potato and pasta station, ensuring there is something to suit everyone.
