We are delighted to invite you to join us for a special International Women’s Day celebration, In Her Honour, an afternoon dedicated to recognising and celebrating the strength, achievements and contribution of women in our lives and within our wider community.

The event will take place on Sunday 1st March 2026, 1.00pm - 4.00pm in the Senior School Assembly Hall. Tickets are priced at £20.00 for adults and £10.00 for children.

International Women’s Day is an important opportunity to reflect on the women who inspire us every day as mothers, daughters, carers, educators, leaders, colleagues and friends. It is also a time to come together as a community to celebrate progress, share appreciation, and encourage the next generation to believe in their potential and their voice.

This will be an uplifting occasion, featuring inspiring speakers, tributes, music and special moments, alongside a traditional Afternoon Tea with a selection of sandwiches, savouries, scones and sweet treats. It will also be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate together as a community and, for those who wish, to mark Mother’s Day in a meaningful and inclusive way.

As part of this event, we would love members of our community to contribute. This could be a short story, poem, reading, reflection, tribute or message of appreciation celebrating a woman or women who have inspired you from any era, whether that is your mum, grandmother, aunt, sister, teacher, friend, colleague, or a woman from history or public life who has made an impact.

We also recognise that for some, this day may feel emotional or complicated. If you do not have a woman in your life to honour, you are warmly invited to celebrate anyone who has stepped into that caring and supportive role, whether that is a father, grandfather, guardian, family member, or someone in your community who has been there for you.
