This Autumn Term has marked the start of many alumnae events at BGS.

Term began welcoming back members of the Class of 2024 for drinks in the Sensory Garden, before many of them returned to university.  As always it was super to hear their news.

On Saturday 13th September we hosted the annual Dame Alice Harpur School Reunion for all eras. It was a beautiful sunny day, and we welcomed leavers spanning an incredible 66 years, from 1945-2011. We also had two mini reunions for the Class of 1975 and 1963. Afternoon tea, catching up with friends and former teachers, along with tours of the school with current students ensued. 

It was wonderful to welcome you all back into school. Thank you also for all the generous donations for the school charity, FACES.

Our next alumnae event will be the Dame Alice Harpur School Class of 1981, which will be taking place on Saturday 8th November 2025, 2.00pm, we would like to invite everyone from the year group to a reunion (including those that left before Sixth Form and former teachers). We hope as many of you can join us as possible. Tickets are priced at £10 per person, which will include a glass of bubbles and a delicious afternoon tea. Book your ticket here.
