As we head into the summer term, we know many students enjoy the flexibility of a packed lunch so they can make the most of sunny days and eat outside in the school grounds. To support that freedom while still offering a school made meal, we’ll be introducing a new cold pack lunch option as the ‘Chef’s Special’ choice.

The cold pack lunch will run on a rolling menu (just like our hot lunches). Each day will feature a main option such as a poke bowl, wrap, focaccia sandwich, pasta salad pot or baguette, and students can then build their lunch by choosing: 1 baked goodie, 1 crisps or popcorn, one healthy snack (e.g. crudités, raisins, Babybel, yoghurt stick), and one piece of fruit. Students can take their lunch outside and enjoy it in the grounds.

We would like to invite parents to a taster session on Friday 27th February at 8:40am to sample a selection of the proposed menus, see how it will work, and share feedback on the overall concept.
