We are currently running our annual food collection for Bedford Foodbank, affiliated to the national charity the Trussell Trust.

Bedford Foodbank is a charity which provides emergency food and compassionate, dignified support to people locked in crisis.

Bedford Foodbank’s volunteers work with referral partners to provide a minimum of three days emergency food and support to people experiencing crisis in our community. Last year, The Trussell Trust foodbanks in the UK gave food over 1.3 million times to people experiencing food poverty.

The items donated will really benefit others, especially in the run up to Christmas and over the winter months. The collection will run until Thursday 4th December. This year, please ask your daughter to place her donations in the boxes which are in Greens, near the juice machine, before school or during break and lunch time.
