Many members of the BGS community enjoyed celebrating Diwali during the half term break. Before the break, the Greens Team hosted a special Diwali lunch to mark the festival of light. The lunch counters were decorated with brightly coloured lanterns and festive decorations, and were filled with a delicious Indian feast.
Two popular dishes on the day were Chana Masala, a tomato-based chickpea curry, and Ras Malai Cake, a sponge cake soaked in a fragrant milky mixture. We have included both recipes below for you to try at home.
