We are delighted to announce that we have once again achieved outstanding IB Diploma results.
The average score was an impressive 36 points, with our top performing student, Serena Jacob, achieving an exceptional 44 points (out of a possible 45). Students have places confirmed on a wide range of courses at leading universities, including, amongst others, English Language and Literature at Oxford; Neuroscience at Bristol; Engineering at Durham; Politics, Philosophy, and Economics at Exeter; Combined Honours at Exeter; Computer Science at Warwick and Mechatronics and Robotic Engineering at Birmingham.
This IB Diploma cohort leaves BGS with the knowledge that they have developed the skills, intellect and attributes to navigate the next stage of their lives with great confidence. They are well prepared for the independent nature of university study.
Mr Gardner (Acting Head) said: “I am extremely proud of the IB Diploma cohort and am delighted that their hard work has been rewarded with impressive results. Their success not only reflects their academic achievements but also underscores the benefits of the IB Diploma Programme in nurturing critical thinking, global awareness and effective communication skills.
“I am excited to see what their future’s hold as they move onto an impressive range of courses at top universities. I look forward to hearing about their new adventures. I am sure you will join me in congratulating them all.”
