A highlight on the BGS calendar, the 159th Bedford Amateur Regatta returns on Saturday 10th May 2025.

We always have a strong presence to cheer on our enthusiastic rowers on their home stretch of river. The Alumnae and Friends of Bedford Girls' School Rowing Club (FBGSRC) will be situated together by the Suspension Bridge, serving delicious refreshments throughout the day and everyone is invited to join us.

 It is an all-day event – so please feel free to pop by and bring your picnic blankets and deckchairs. Spread the word and show your support for our rowers, we would be delighted to see you.

We cannot wait to hear the infamous “BGS Roar” from the banks of the River Ouse on Saturday 10th May!
