Iftar Celebration
Following the success of last year’s Iftar ceremony at the school, The Association and the BGS Islam Society are delighted to invite you to join us on Wednesday 20th March for a celebration of Ramadan 2024.
The event will take place in the Senior School Dining Hall from 5:00pm. There will be activities leading up to the call for prayer by the Imam, followed by the breaking of the fast. We invite you to bring food to share amongst the guests. This will be a wonderful opportunity to introduce people to your family’s favourite dish, or perhaps something that holds significance to you at this important time of year. Soft drinks will be provided and please note that this will be a strictly alcohol-free event.

When arriving, please enter through the Bursary Gates and come straight to the Dining Room at 5:00pm. The event should end by 8:00pm at the latest.
Quiz Night
The Association and Bedford Prep School Guild 2024 look forward to seeing you at the Family Quiz on Saturday 23rd March at 6:30pm in the Senior School Dining Hall at Bedford Girls’ School.
Gather your friends and family, make a team and join us for an evening of fun and healthy competition. The quiz will begin at 6.30pm. Doors to the BGS Dining Hall will open at 5.30pm for your teams to come in and decorate your tables.
Teams should be a maximum of 10 people per table. You can bring your own picnic/takeaway and drinks to enjoy during the quiz. We have also arranged for a delicious street food truck to come along, serving tasty paella, burgers, chips and flatbread pizzas.
