By Mrs Martin (Head of Year 3)

In an overdue reunion after the pandemic hiatus, parents and Year 3 students revived our beloved Reading Breakfast tradition.

Bonding over books, coffee, and delicious muffins, they dived into the enchanting world of storytelling.

The girls' imaginative creations of talking animals, each endowed with superpowers reflecting our learner profiles and our unit on adventurous vocabulary, were truly magical. One table unveiled characters who harnessed their powers when provoked, while another table showcased a plethora of unique, creative super magical animals.

We are always incredibly thankful for the unwavering support of our parents. The girls listened diligently to the stories they were being told, fostering a love for literature. It was a heart-warming and inspiring morning that underscored the power of imagination, learning, and the beautiful partnership between school and home. It is always a pleasurable way to start our day and we are looking forward to our next breakfast in November.
