By Mrs Button (Year 6 Teacher)

On Wednesday 28th February, as a continuation of the exploration of various faiths, Year 6 welcomed Rabbi Yitzchak Lew from Chabad of Milton Keynes to our school. Rabbi Lew shared insights into Jewish festivals, beliefs, and customs, captivating us with stories and sounds.

Highlights included hearing the shofar's haunting melody and excerpts from the megillah, offering glimpses into the spiritual depth of Jewish rituals.

Rabbi Lew's visit proved instrumental in fostering a deeper understanding and respect for Jewish life and values among our students, inspiring them to embrace diversity and engage in meaningful dialogue.

Daisy (6C) said: “I found it really interesting finding out about their different festivals that occur throughout the year. It was inspirational to hear how much they value their traditions.”
