Junior School LRC

By Miss Kidd (Senior LRC Assistant)

The Junior School has been super busy with lots of creative minds buzzing at the lunch time clubs this week. The girls have been thinking of new ways to decorate the library space and it has definitely worked!

Our old books have had a real Cinderella moment, being transformed into our very own pages of wilderness. The library is surrounded by hedgehogs and fir trees that the students have made. Using their folding and origami skills, they have been able to bring books to life, literally.

In addition to these creations, our competition has concluded. Students were tasked with designing the cover of the book they intended to read over the Christmas holidays. My Christmas Read offered participants a chance to win book vouchers, redeemable at our recent Book Fair.

Congratulations to Makeda (6H), Abinaya (6H), Matilda (5CS), Harriet (5B), and Sakinah (4W) for their impressive designs, earning them the title of winners.
