After many months of lockdown and limited contact with our friends, it was exciting for the girls to take part in a day of outdoor team building activities!

The teams had to flex their thinking skills and be creative with their communication in order to solve problems such as Sky Tower, Ski Walk and Toxic Waste. The activities encouraged pupils to share ideas, communicate and plan their problem-solving approach whilst working together to achieve success.

In one activity, girls were tethered together and had to escape a seemingly impossible loop - we certainly could not figure out how to break free in my session. In another activity the pupils had to get a ball from one end of the tennis courts to the other only using short lengths of guttering.

After a great deal of perseverance, we managed to decide upon a strategy and we made it all the way across, only to be given a much smaller ball to make the return journey with. It was a real treat to be outside, enjoying the challenges we were set.
