It has been an exhilarating start to the year, diving straight into the magical world of Narnia in our joint production with Bedford School of The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe and you can expect the unexpected in our re-working of this classic story from C.S. Lewis.

As an actor 26 years ago, I performed this very show with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC), and it has been a joy to return to it with such a talented and enthusiastic cast of performers from Years 9 to Upper Sixth. I have always loved the story of the mystical world within a wardrobe. This version of the story demands that actors create dynamic characterisations and, as it is a play with music and songs, also gives those talented singers the opportunity to engage the audience through song. It was a perfect choice therefore to provide a wide range of opportunities for our students.

We had over 100 students audition for this show and so we have a large cast waiting to invite you into Narnia in our wonderful new Assembly Hall. The ideas that have come out of the rehearsals so far have been thrilling as we search for innovative ways to transport you from War-torn London to a Narnia under the grip of the White Witch.

Tickets for the train from Paddington Station into Narnia will go on sale soon. Be sure to get onboard!
