By Miss Bream (Teacher of Dance and Coordinator of Co-Curricular Dance)
We are delighted to share that Lower Sixth students Isabelle Harnan and Jasmine Murray have successfully achieved the Royal Academy of Dance Assistant Student Teacher Award.
This nationally recognised qualification reflects their dedication and highlights the continued strength of dance within our school. The Assistant Teacher Award is now becoming an established and valued part of our dance provision.
Under the guidance of Mrs D’Arcy, Isabelle and Jasmine spent two years supporting the teaching of students across a range of age groups. During this time, they completed a minimum of sixty hours of teaching practice, undertook twelve teaching assessments, and produced an in-depth reflective written assignment.
Balancing this commitment alongside their academic studies is a significant achievement and one of which they should be extremely proud. Congratulations to Isabelle and Jasmine. Their success continues to strengthen the future of dance at BGS.
