DAME ALICE HARPUR SCHOOL

In July 2009, the Bedford Charity (The Harpur Trust), announced its intention to merge Dame Alice Harpur School with Bedford High School for Girls to rationalise their provision of education to one independent girls’ school, one boys’ school, one co-educational school and a pre-preparatory school.

The new merged school is called Bedford Girls' School, and is located on the former site of Dame Alice Harpur School.
