As part of a policy to improve its environmental impact, The Harpur Trust encourages pupils and parents to choose eco-friendly ways to travel to and from school.
Car sharing is a convenient way to cut carbon emissions on the school run. It can also reduce congestion and save valuable time and stress at the beginning and end of the day.
With this in mind, Bedford Girls’ School has signed up with Faxi, a free journey sharing internet and smart phone app. Designed to help parents make arrangements to share journeys, the online resource can only be used by people who are authorised to do so by the school.
The Faxi app can be downloaded for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play. Registration is completely free and entirely without obligation.
