Teacher of Biology (Full Time, Maternity Cover)

Commencing September 2017

Commencing in September 2017, we are looking for a well-qualified graduate to join our successful team of specialist staff in our Science Department. 

The successful candidate must be passionate about the Sciences and an excellent Biology Teacher, who is enthusiastic about their subject and motivated to encourage and inspire, bright, talented girls. A wide co-curriculum is offered to which staff are expected to contribute. Experience of teaching the IB Diploma Programme and the other Sciences would be desirable.

Head of Modern Foreign Languages

Commencing September 2017

An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced and outstanding teacher of French to lead a successful Modern Foreign Languages department from September 2017. The languages currently offered are French, German and Spanish.

We are seeking to appoint a candidate who is passionate about promoting modern foreign languages and encouraging girls to see themselves as part of an international community. The successful candidate must be able to teach across the age range, though experience at teaching IB is not essential. In addition, the successful candidate will possess excellent communication skills as well as the ability to model good practice and lead and inspire the department.

Committed to achieving high standards of teaching and learning, the successful candidate will also be expected to make a full contribution to the co-curricular life of the school.
