Our Sixth Form is a place to shine, to be ambitious and outward looking. It is the final stage of the Bedford Girls’ School journey from where you will leave us as a confident young woman equipped to take on the challenges of the waiting world.
We provide unparalleled academic and pastoral support and deliver first class teaching across both the International Baccalaureate and traditional A Level Curriculum and, equally importantly, we place you at the centre of your learning.
Aside from our high academic standards and excellent results, the Sixth Form is about preparing you for the future: becoming a well-rounded individual with a caring and enquiring mind. We want to instill in our Sixth Formers an ethos that will see you succeed not just at university but in life beyond.
The Sixth Form is also about having fun! Through our rich co-curricular programme you will have opportunities to take part in film evenings, quizzes, theatre trips and a number of student-led clubs and societies. A number of these are joint activities with students from Bedford School, a single sex boys’ school, which like us belongs to the Harpur Trust.
Ultimately you will discover that developing your independence and confidence reaps many benefits. In years to come you will become a successful young woman who, crucially, is happy and able to cope with the pressures, challenges and excitement of modern life.
