At the heart of the IB is the “learner profile”. It is designed to underpin the mission of the IB - to create a long term, holistic vision of education that puts the student at the centre of learning.
The profile outlines ten qualities that are the key characteristics of internationally minded life-long learners who are capable of shaping a better world. These qualities are intended to be aspirational and help to motivate and inspire the work of teachers and students.
