The role of parents within the Bedford Girls’ School community is valued and appreciated by staff and pupils alike. We are extremely grateful for the continued support we receive and welcome input and dialogue between parents and the school.
One of the most important roles parents can play at BGS is that of a Parent Elected Governor (PEG). This post enables parents to have input into the life of the school, to be involved in strategic planning and to act as a link between the school and other parents.
Catherine McCarthy was recently appointed to the post of Parent Elected Governor from September 2012.
