Systems Support Engineer
Salary £28,000 - £32,000
Bedford Girls’ School are seeking an enthusiastic and professional Systems Support Engineer to develop and maintain a solid network, security and server infrastructure for a school putting ICT at the forefront of teaching and learning. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, implementing and supporting software, servers, networks, and systems. You will have a minimum of three years’ experience of managing and supporting Windows Server and Active Directory. An organised, methodical approach with an ability to communicate and present complex ideas effectively is essential.

Assistant Head of Rowing
Starting September 2013
Bedford Girls’ School are seeking an enthusiastic, talented and committed Assistant Head of Rowing to support the Head of Rowing and racing calendar. This will involve assisting with the coordination of all coaching activities including administration, organisation and coaching. A flexible approach is essential as the hours are yet to be agreed and variable across the year and will include regular weekend, early morning, school holidays and evening work.
From novice to elite we encourage the girls to strive for excellence. Therefore, the successful candidate will need to be passionate about rowing and coaching at all levels. The successful candidate should hold a recognised British Rowing coaching qualification with a proven track record as a rower or coach.

Science Technician (Chemistry)
Salary £16,891 full time equivalent
The ideal applicant will have previous experience of working in a school science lab with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. The role will include assisting in the science lab, undertaking risk assessments, preparing for lessons and experiments, ensuring all apparatus and chemicals are correctly handled and maintained in accordance with COSHH standards.
The post is term time only working 37 hours per week.
