In one sense, community is the life we offer our pupils, parents and staff: a sense of togetherness, a collective responsibility, a shared vision for our girls. Community is also at the heart of our connection and links with the outside world; with our past pupils, our governing body, The Harpur Trust and residents in our local vicinity. In all that we do, we appreciate our role and responsibility within the Community in which we exist.
We want to build a school that creates a sense of belonging and involvement, a school which fosters respect and courtesy and encourages committed and active alumnae and parents. We want the girls to be outward looking. To recognise that they can give as much back to the community and help make a difference to people’s lives as we hope the school will make to theirs.
